Sounds like all the faceless folk-rock from the Bay area during this time. Everybody and his garage was trying to get into that scene, but the few SF bands that broke through in '67 changed the whole scene. All the guitars and amps from this period then went into pawn shops all over california. Remember all the Mosrite guitars and tear drop VOX guitars you could buy for almost nothing?

These must be some of those 'unrequited love' songs John Fogerty wrote in his teens! I can't believe they never charted as the Golliwogs.
