Hadrians Wall and the forts are all situated in the English counties of Cumbria and Northumberland, as a resident of this region I should know! As I previously suggested look at a map of the area and you will see the English/ Scottish border is a full 70 miles to the north. The wall marked the edge of the Roman Empire, not the border between England and Scotland, they simply did not exist at the time! Glad to help!

yeah, I was just there.... Hadrian's Wall is completely in England. It was once the border of the Roman Empire, but not the English/Scottish border. If tourist agencies are telling you it is the border with Scotland then they don't know what they are talking about.

Suggest you check your map.Hadrians Wall and Houseteads Fort are entirely in England, not Scotland

@ellabella9205 Well ok, but I don't agree.... I've talked with several tourist offices and all of them confirmed they consider it the border to Scotland! And if you consider my insights the video has been embedded everywhere they talk about Scotland! :) Cheers!
