This months Recon examines the personal military image, tatoos, and why it matters to the individual service member.

You know what all this is BullS____. I say if you want to serve unless you do not have an extremist tattoo then why bother. The military and tatoos are like bread and wine.......

tattoos can only cover 25% of your body and are not allowed to be seen when wearing a class A uniform (no face neck or hand tattoos) and must be appropriate for "good conduct and discipline"

you can still have tattoos in the military. the thing is though, you can't join spec ops(force recon, seals, sf, rangers, etc. etc.) if you have tattoos.
