I can't thank you enough for this video...2 years ago I was listening to Franz Ferdinard, and this video came up....I had never heard of Velvet Goldmine before, but I watched the video..2 years later I have watched this film countless times and it is simply my #1 favourite film <3

I must say that this was pretty bad ass! Normally these clip montage videos are kind of annoying, but I thought this one was spectacularly done, and I absolutely adore the choice of song! Velvet Goldmine is my favourite movie and I also enjoy Franz Ferdinand. I just remember doing some project for English in high school that involved playing this song in class. I think it was about a book I read about a gay boy.

It is a wonderful movie. Ewan and Christian's character does make love to each other and it is the most erotic beautiful love scene i've seen in a movie. The funny thing is that when the movie came out in 1998 i remember Christian and Ewan McGregor saying in an interview to a British paper that they actually had a love affair with each other during filming to make their characters romantic scene more real. I'm sure they were jocking, but lol i was like 'oh my God please let it be real'.

It's a pitty the wrong title to the song ruines the prefectly good mixed video. The song is called Michael, not beautiful dance whore.
