Honestly I fucking love bill maher, AS A COMEDIAN and a person to go to when i want some good laugh, but that has to be one of the dumbest statements i've ever read.

That comment right there is frightening because I know that you are not the only one who believes that. People actually think he is a good resource for knowledge and intelligence. How dumb and lazy Americans are. BM knows nothing of economics, nothing of history, and is basically the most cynical, hateful, arrogant, empty vessel of a human being in entertaimment. Yes, that's right, it's ENTERTAINMENT dude. An entertainer is your intellectual hero. Think what that indicates about you.

I find it funny that people can call being conservative socially a "point of view". That's like calling cement a drink because it can be poored. Conservative polocies, such as being tough on drugs and crime emulate the childish idea that we can change people with a whack of the stick; it's naive and old fashioned, anti gay legislation forces others to suffer for ignorant and religious beliefes of others, and as far as war goes, refer to being "tough on..."stuff. So many fools.

I hate CNN too.
Not as much as I hate FOX News, but pretty darn close.
I hate any news organization that doesn't strive for fair & balanced reporting. The best I can get is PBS/non-for-profit. And though they may get slanted at times, at least the effort for some kind of integrity for non-partisan reporting is made.
