@Chrisdvc26 I think you're over reacting to his points. His points is about over medicating. Not life saving surgery.
-
Bill's point is well taken but what about in situations like glaucoma? You're prescribed western medication that slows down the progression which you are meant to take for the rest of your life but the alternative is to not take it and risk faster progression or blindness with little recourse to natural nutritional alternatives. The medication has side effects and can be bad but would anyone say stopping it is better? If so, then what else could you do naturally to solve it?

@Chrisdvc26 -- It doesn't sound as if he is bashing surgery. But he is making a valid point: For decennia the motto of the pharmaceutical industry has been: "Every cured patient is a lost client". That is why all drugs are geared toward symptom supression and not toward healing. Pharmaceutical companies are buying out cures for cancer, diabetes, arthritis, etc. not because they want to distribute it, but because they want to hide it from the public!

I love Bill, but he's way off on this one. I'd love to hear his opinions on Western medicine after getting into a car accident. I'd love to see him refuse painkillers, or surgery, or any of the medicines or procedures scientists and MDs have been perfecting over the course of centuries. If you continue to bash Western medicine, it's my opinion that you shouldn't be allowed to step foot in a hospital.

"poisoned" hilarious

It seems that it is not our educators or our politicians that are leading the way to social, economic, political and health reform. It is the comedians such a Bill Mayer and the late great George Carlin. People need to understand how we are being poisoned in this country by our food, air, innumerable materials that we come into contact everyday and, prescription drugs. If we knew how we should feel except for the result of the toxic onslaught on our bodies, there would be riots in the streets.

I disagree, Bill is wrong on this one.

...Doctors are fully aware that the science shows the diet and exercise are the most effective ways of disease control and prevention, however, they are also aware that it is the method that has the least compliance so i think bill should try to forgive the doctors for trying to do something for their patients instead of just letting them die while waiting for them to get off their asses
@eggiex1 So wait Steve Jobs,Bill Gates,Ted Turner,Brad Pitt,Richard Branson,Arnold Schwarzenegger,Montel Williams,Michael Bloomberg,Rick Steves and Barack Obama all have lost 50% of their I.Q.Because all of them smoked marijuana for more than a decade and all of them have high I.Q.s and have been more successful than you or I ever will be.The father of our country grew and much evidence points to him even smoking it.marijuana has it's ill effects just like other drugs but don't lie about them.

@eggiex1 They've all admitted that they we're chronic users and you may not find them intelligent but I along with a lot of other people do.Also yes marijuana does have an effect on the brains memory which could cause someone who is too young to smoke it to not remember things they have been taught, but if you control yourself and have moderation marijuana's effects are far less dangerous than any other drug.Show me where marijuana has killed anyone and I'll show you a dog that can talk.
