Why is there a power input if they are AA Batteries??

i already have these olympus 590uz.. it has very nice functions additional features... but the one big problem of this stuff is that it uses 4 AA bateries.... it consume lots of power.... if it only use battery pack... theres nothing worry about....... So if you dont want to use a old style AA battery... DONT BUY THIS STUFF...

overall i have to say that I'm not pleased
and the price is to big.

On Auto it needs to be on wide and lot's of natural light, to get greater images,
In auto mode on tele, (quick shots), sucks !
In manual, you need time to set everything correctly.

I'm definitely an Olympus fan, $900 strong; but eww, the smile thing? That has got to piss you off. "Smile Billy or I'll kick your face in, you're killing my battery!"
