She describes what was true many years in my life. Alone with Christ, no church, no fellowship. Many years later I joined a local Pentecostal church and am now just trying to live with it. I've found many like-minded people who don't subscribe to conventional beliefs about social issues and politics.
Actually what she's doing is in the heart of Christ's teaching about the Pharisees. They're right about theology, but something is horribly wrong. They don't speak for God. It's a deep mystery.

As many souls as there are in this world -- like, 6 billion or so?? -- THAT is how many ways there are to find God.
Each person should be free to persue his/her OWN PATH to the Divine. As a matter of fact... that is the ONLY WAY anyone will EVER find God!!! Kudos and respect, Ms. Anne!

Hey Anne. Heard about your conversion through an interview with Tom Wright. I'm with you. Search The Church Beyond Imagination on the internet. A wonderful group from South Africa has done amazing research on this subject. There really is no scriptural basis for the church we see today. The hierarchy and the performance like nature. Please research it. Christians need each other as well as Christ.

I'm going to show this to my family. Perhaps after hearing a successful person articulate what I have been trying to tell them for years, they may understand where I am coming from.
Thank you for always being yourself.

Another definition of the body of Christ. :) I really loved that last sentence, as it attaches to a part of what I believe considering religions as well, and at the same time this phrase is beautifully put, metaphorically. :)

@skb0rzn Pt 2 flesh and that is what those in power want, slaves to the wage and ego. VERY low vibrations and VERY low on humanity.
Jesus never came to start a religion. He came to show us the way.
in Memnoch the Devil Anne wrote that perhaps we have to forgive God. And that rang so true to me it changed my life. I forgave God for all of lifes hardships and hurt, then after was able to forgive myself and the world.
Sure God doesn't need or want our forgiveness, but WE NEED TO FORGIVE. <3

@alhawal1 Thanks :) Its up to us to be the change, it is also up to us to shine the light on the dark places in humanity and our spirit. The Great Spirit of God never wanted us to live in fear, nor for us to suffer such division. I believe that Christs teaching are really the way to eternal life. I mean in this that through love, forgiveness and gratitude we are able to transcend the flesh and live forever as part of God and the Great Mystery of all. BUT if we do not we are stuck in the CONT:

@skb0rzn i like what you wrote, i agree :)
I love you Mrs Rice and send all blessings of warmth and light. Thank you so much for so many years of wonderful writing. Thank you for the lessons in life and thank you for these valued and important message.
I feel very much the same as you, I am not a Christian but I believe deeply in the message and teaching of Christ sans ego.
Hell and Damnation are not part of a God of Love and Forgiveness.
Judgement and Shame are ego. The Division and Greed are Ego. Ego being The Devil. :) Namaste
