See what Astronomer and Physicist, Hugh Ross, has to say about how the Book of Job, creation, and the universe fit together. VERY interesting if you are an astronomer or physicist, but do not believe in creation!

  • I know that Hugh Ross wasn't creationist. Is he now?

  • @aClockworkBoec He says he is a Christian, so yes he is!

  • @joel10000a Not every christian is a creationist. I haven't read the book, but in this video I hear Pat said to Hugh something about big bang and 14 billion years old universe. Which means that Hugh hasn't change his opinion.

It amazes me that he continues to believe in old universe theory, even though he wrote a book about the Book of Job. Did he skipped verse 26:7?

  • @aClockworkBoec If you think you are a TRUE Christian, and you are not a creationist, you are indeed kidding YOURSELF!!! A person is only a TRUE Christian if he has become Born Again. Jesus said so right in the Bible!!!

When a person prays the Prayer of Salvation - to become Born Again - he PROMISES to follow Jesus by following the teachings in the Bible - this means Genesis too!!!

  • @aClockworkBoec You also REPENT, which means you are sorry for your sins (believing in evolution IS a sin, because it is a concept that is contrary to the Word of God), AND that you will TURN AWAY from your past sins and sinful ways (including believing in evolution)!!!

  • @joel10000a I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I'm not the one who believes in evolution and 13 billion years old universe. And I'm not the one who is publicly teaching those things under the guise of a pious christian.

  • @aClockworkBoec What he is saying is that the universe may be 14 billion years old, but that doesn't mean he is saying that man is older than 6000 years, if that is what you were talking about.

  • he said it must be exact size to make sure carbon and helium exist..but then its expanding. im kind of confused

  • @aClockworkBoec concerning you're statement...Believing that the Earth is 14 billion years old doesn't inherently mean that you believe in evolution. I my self am a Christian and I believe the same thing that Mr. Ross believes, which is Old Earth Creationism. I could talk about this topic for hours but to keep it short: The Bible goes into very specific depth concerning the process of creation and it supports our understanding of how the Earth was created (NOT evolution) but the physical aspects

  • @joel10000a I watched his debate with Kent Hovind, and there was no any "maybe" in his opinion. The man is absolutely convinced that the universe is 13.5 billion years old, and that Genesis chapter 1 is merely a symbolism. He also think that the universe is expanding, even though Robert Gentry proved otherwise.

  • @joel10000a Well said...
