Ultimate NES/Famicom Game Compilation Part 1

Part one of a two-part series showcasing the best games the Nintendo Entertainment System and Famicom had to offer.

Games only released in Japan are denoted with a (J); most of these games are platformers or shmups that can be played without any knowledge of Japanese, however, some are very story driven (such as Earthbound or Final Fantasy), and as such you will need to find an English translation patch somewhere on the internet. The name of the translation I used appears in square brackets after the name of the game (this might prove helpful). Your time searching for these will be well spent, as these are some of the best games on the NES/Famicom.
