@dean24uk Building high walls, locking all gates, getting good insurance... Signs would not help because a small child might not understand them. Even if you did everything in your power to restrict access you can still be held liable. It's one of the reasons why having a pool raises your homeowner's insurance rates. It's messed up, but we live in a country where you can sue McDonald's for millions if you dump their coffee on your lap -.-

i could not live under such pathetic law as that. what would you need in order to prevent being liable for something that is out of your control...a do not jump my fence sign..? beware of the swimming pool..? trespassers are not my liability ?

@dean24uk Yep. The laws are effed up. If a kid scales your wall and drowns in your backyard pool you can be held liable.
