  • Even though he's obviously not a small man, Ulf actually looks tiny compared to all the guys he beat! I know Gunthor is 6'7" Barnes and Beyer are around 6'4" each. Anyone know how tall Ulf is?

  • Barnes and Beyer are around 6'4'' 300.......Gunthor 6'5'' 285..ulf is only 6'3'' about 260

  • nothing spectacular? the previous Oly record was just over 70 feet , then three guys blow past it up to over 73, and just when Ulf thought know one could beat him Barnes comes up for his last throw to improve by 4 feet to take the lead ....yeah you're right , pretty ordinary!

  • Yes

  • is the ball 16 pounds

  • @70footer my friend Tod Davis talks to him on facebook. And yes it really is him cause he puts videos of him throwing now just recent.

  • @jackjolli oh haha i thought you were talking about his shot placement which is unusually low but i get your logic.

  • @ChrisSousa9 LOL i posted that 2 years ago and it just made me laugh. "his arm is corked" like hollowing out a baseball bat and putting a cork inside it. you know like sammy sosa did.. it helps you swing faster, allowing you to hit the ball further

  • @jackjolli what do you mean?

  • wow what a competition.

  • this proves that shotput and discus are more technique than strength. but in this case we viewed an incredible amount of both.

  • This is a good video, glide vs. spin. In this case Ulf with the glide won it, but Barnes ended up with the world record later that still hasn't been beat.

  • hmm this Ulf is quite fast thats probably why he dominated!! i love him! -no homo-
