Remembering Mom. Her Life In Photos

I shot this video montage in remembrance of my Mom on Mother's Day. These are photos I have of her throughout her life. The song is called "Living" by Moby.

This was a very emotional project to work on. I knew it would bring back memories, but when I first viewed the final cut, I must admit, I broke down and cried.

Watching these photos reminded me of my grandmother, the happiness she gave to other people, and the graceful way she grew old. Thank you for this beautiful and heartfelt tribute to your Mom. I am very sorry for your loss.

This made me feel very sad, somewhat lucky as my mother is still alive, but she is diabetic and a smoker so this reminds me of her mortality and that we don't really hang out and have fun or anything because I'm always 'too busy' for it. Thanks for the tears, and reminding me that no matter what age we die at, it's going to affect our loved ones.
