Clips from Passion of the Christ edited to the song Pieces by Red. This video was shown at the worship service Project 217, as well as a couple Sunday School classes.

People always see Christians as a group of people who generally do good, and are nice and kind to others. But Christianity is by no means an easy, or even at times, a comfortable or fun faith to have. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ was a shameful, humiliating one, but through his sacrifice, our sins were sacrificed as well. Even in a situation where Christ could've easily rejected God and could've shown hate and spite towards the people who were killing him, he still asked God to forgive them for their actions. It's this, along with the resurrection of Christ three days later, that lays the foundation of the Christian faith. If it weren't for Easter, Christianity would not exist. Easter isn't about some fake bunny, or accidentally stepping on eggs when you're trying to find them, or giving yourself diabetes by loading yourself with candies. Easter is a brutal, revered day in which one man, who gave his one life for billions of others, rose from the dead. This year, remember what Easter is really about.

Yet I love this movie, it brings people together and I will always love studying religion and I will especially will always love Red.
