it wasn't too high for her range when she first recorded it, her voice is a bit lower now.

i love her songs. especially this one. but i dont think she ever performs it as well as she sounds in the single. she always alters the way she releases her voice when she starts the chorus. its too high for her range. in saying that. this is my favourite song from her.

@XLnotsofunny That, plus this song is inherently difficult to sing. If you listen to a performance around the time the single came out, you can tell she is straining to get the vocal out, and there are a few performances where her voice squeaks. But, as you can tell in this performance, she figured out how to perform the vocal live. This is beautiful.

I'm REALLY glad there's a few people that can sing without the use of computers =) she has an amazing voice and it's hard to stop listening to it. Don't ever change Michelle!

Wow! I love Michelle, she's amazing! So many artists nowadays need to turn up half naked with six million vocal/lighting effects and backing dancers to get attention. Michelle just has herself, her band and her amazing songs, and she has ten times the stage presence that people like Lady Gaga have. She's an absolute role model (along with people like Kelly Clarkson) and I hope she never stops doing what she does best.
