What a beautiful video. Job well done. I have a cottage there on the Cove Road. The tide goes out another 150-200 feet past the end of the wharf that you can see. It is a beautiful spot in the summertime. If the temp is 32-34 C about 90F in the valley you can bet it's about 25-26C about 77F nice and cool.
@TomBrooklyn@TomBrooklyn It varies depending on where you are. The Bay of Fundy is 180 miles long and the coast line is anything but straight. The Minas Basin are has a 55 foot difference between low and high tide.
Also, in this video there is a LONG period of low tide with no change from 1:34 to about 3:50. It's just stream water. That period represents almost 8 hours. During this period you don't see how far out into the bay the water retreats for 4 hrs before coming back another 4 hrs.
Very nice day to do a time lapse recording... lots of activity. That would have been a day before a full moon/highest tide. Hard to say which tide is higher when you have some of the greatest tides in the world.
Hi, this is great. Love your webcams. We were there on saturday 5th September. Never knew of this beautiful place until your webcam. Any chance of seeing that day in 10 mins.

The tide looks to range about 12' here. That is a lot, but why is it some people claim a 45' to 50' tidal range?

Lovely film. What was your frame rate? You caught the adaptations the townspeople made to the tidal range.

Wow this film is beautiful. Great quality, awesome tide footage, and the sunrise in time lapse is incredible all by itself.

Very cool. I was teaching my son about the extreme tidal changes the farther one is from the equator, and this was helpful. Thanks!
