@dabomber1300 Honestly I've gotten past NGE while yes I miss alot of the things that have been removed and the old skill tree and I also hate the ridiculous amount of jedi running around they've made good progress since NGE first came out and while the game isn't what it used to be and could be much more than what it is now I still have fun with SWG

It wasn't just adding levels, they changed the ENTIRE combat system twice, and we did complain to them. There were large scale protests for weeks before they pushed it out, which immediately halfed their subscribers. If you don't know what you're talking about then don't talk about it dude.

WEll i see what your saying but the game sux now economy is shit the entire online players who wtill play just sit around random citys afk before it wouldent matter if u just started no one was a noob everyone had something to offer and then they fucked it up

ok im gonna get bitched at for this but.... what is the big deal if they switched to to a lvl based game... i played the trial and thought the game was ok so wat if u have to gain lvls now it dont matter well i guess it does to the ppl that were the first to play but god damn ppl bite the bullet and complain to the company manybe they could have fixed it again for the better... dont whine like bitches and quit.... so yea im probly gonna be the most hated commenter now but thats my thoughts

I don't really know much about this game. How did SoE break this game? Did they change it that drastically?

The game was mainly like this video when it first came out, with some tweaks that made it good.
They did a "Combat Upgrade" which actually really was not an upgrade, was a downgrade. It was more of Matrix Online combat after this.
Then SoE didnt learn from their mistakes and did ANOTHER combat chance. This combat was even worse, you had "Levels" like in World of Warcraft, and it was just down right awful.
