@ska8terfr3k1974 personally I have preferred automatics in the past for 4 wheeling... automatics make it a lot easier to control the jeep if you are new to 4 wheeling. Todays automatics are more than capable of handling some pretty sketchy stuff. You can check out some of my older videos with my 01 Cherokee that was an automatic, and believe me it went places... I just got a new Rubi thats standard, so I'm learning a whole new way of driving off road. But I enjoy both.
Looks like it was in 4-hi most of the time when he should have been in 4-lo.
