Cynical - Extreme cover (Samson C01 mic test)

Im not Nuno Bettencourt (though i wish i was..) and cant play it perfectly. but for those of you here for the song, I learned this entirely by ear and hope it helps.

Its by far the heaviest song ive ever learned, and it may very well be the most fun song that I know. Over the past year, Nuno has become, in my eyes, a wanna-be guitar legend to my favorite guitarist of all time. He tears apart every guitarist across the modern music spectrum.

As far as the Samson mic goes, it's fantastic. It has fantastic frequency response. I picked up a crappy little crate MX10 and the quality came out pretty well (for those of you who know the song, I'm going for that raw neck-pickup, natural distortion tone that Nuno pulls off so well

You know the co1 isnt a mic made for recording amplifiers? Its made for vocal recording...

@sockerbiten2 sure but it picks up just about everything. in the end, it doesnt matter what they say its made for, it matters about the captured frequency range. and the recorded amp sounds just like the actual amp. in my opinion, the C01 handled a 1x10 speaker like a champ.
