It is not a trifle, it is not a pie and definetly it is not traditional english. So don't think people over the ocean (or over the Channel) prepare uneatable food as a tradition just cos they are diferent. Also don't underestimate any dish, some people can like it (doesn't matter if it's tasty or not).
