His PRIME Performance Alone, showcases Layne's vocal talents!

We, the millions of Layne Staley Fans, honor his memory with so many tribute sites, (just like this one) and i think we all would agree that Layne Staley DESERVES an Award/Special Honors for his vocals, (as layne sang with many different talented musicians).
*hint, hint* A MTV/VH1 Behind The Music, Autobiography Book/Movie/tv, R&R Hall of Fame, ....Anything That's True & Tasteful!

  • Unreal live vocals by Layne. Best rock vocalist of that era IMO. Don't give me that Eddie Vetter shit either PJ fans.

Cornell's had chops before he got lazy and so did Buckley, but Layne was real bluesy and he could harmonize better than any of them.

  • @jetershomie

I couldn't have said it better my friend! ♫ especially about the harmonizing and that bluesiness!

I give Eddie & Chris props, very talented musicians...but there was no one that compared to Staley ♫ aic's music

  • Could you post a link to part 3 on another site as it is blocked by youtube?

  • @1041wbcn i will do my best to get you the details asap!

  • @gastronohmic....well said! Untouchable...for sure! so many others musicians appreciated his talents, other were full of jealousy!

  • this version of love hate love is the best live performance by any band/vocalist ever PERIOD!!!!!!!!

  • @ouchie666 Maybe they were disliking the quality of the recording, i dont see how its possible to dislike the song itself.

  • @jetershomie actually eddie V was better in technical ways such as harmonizing... jerry said that what layne made special was that he did harmonize wrong...but better :)

to be honest i prefer layne too but eddie vedder is a good singer or at least was back in the 90's

  • The best singing I've ever heard. Amazing.

  • where's the third part??
