@jetershomie actually eddie V was better in technical ways such as harmonizing... jerry said that what layne made special was that he did harmonize wrong...but better :)
to be honest i prefer layne too but eddie vedder is a good singer or at least was back in the 90's

Unreal live vocals by Layne. Best rock vocalist of that era IMO. Don't give me that Eddie Vetter shit either PJ fans.
Cornell's had chops before he got lazy and so did Buckley, but Layne was real bluesy and he could harmonize better than any of them.
