Bad form to call such a great song by a movie title.
-
Look up "misirlou" on Wikipedia: it gives a good history of the origin of the song.
-
The song is miserlou (Dick Dale) and is an old Greek song.
Dale`s version of the song was in the motion pictute "Pulp Fiction", but it's not the name of the song.
-
@professortiki Close, no cigar though...
-
Actually, it's called 'Misirilou' by Dick Del and the Deltones.
-
sagst du ganz am anfang:"geh mir nicht auf den sack!" ? ;)
-
@Evansmyman it wasnt originally but they did it and changed it with the lyrics
-

The tune is called Miserlou......old 50's 'surf-rock' by (iirc) Dick and the Deltones.......but originally a Greek bazouki piece.
UOGB version is excellent - must get tickets to see them before they implode :-)
