  • The tune is called Miserlou......old 50's 'surf-rock' by (iirc) Dick and the Deltones.......but originally a Greek bazouki piece.

UOGB version is excellent - must get tickets to see them before they implode :-)

  • The track is called "Misirlu", not "pulp fiction"

  • Bad form to call such a great song by a movie title.

  • Look up "misirlou" on Wikipedia: it gives a good history of the origin of the song.

  • The song is miserlou (Dick Dale) and is an old Greek song.

Dale`s version of the song was in the motion pictute "Pulp Fiction", but it's not the name of the song.

  • @professortiki Close, no cigar though...

  • Actually, it's called 'Misirilou' by Dick Del and the Deltones.

  • sagst du ganz am anfang:"geh mir nicht auf den sack!" ? ;)

  • @Evansmyman it wasnt originally but they did it and changed it with the lyrics

  • another cover from 50s in Turkey; called "yarali gonlum" (eng. my wounded heart) by zeki muren
