@seahawk98277 I now you commented a year ago. The car in the video was a one off import 450 model before smart began importing the 451 model via Penskie Auto. They now are around $ 11,900 and can go as high as $21,000 for a sport (Brabus) Cabriolet model. Practical is a state of mind. Yaris gets 29/36 City/Hwy. The smart gets 33/41 so it does edge out the Yaris and most other gas only economy cars. Its a like or not kind of car, not saying you have to like it. Just sharing a little smart.

The nice thing is that in the new 451 model (the one shown is a 450). There is room for a weeks worth of groceries. We can put 6 to 8 of the Publix reusable bags side by side... you can stack if you want and get 12 in there. Given most people only shop for a few days worth of food at a time, we rarely have an issue with room for groceries. Having owned our Smart fortwo for nearly 2 years I still enjoy it. The AC is amazing at keeping the car VERY cool on the hottest Florida summer days.

I can think of one who's at least stupid. LOL
Battering ram? Are you at war or just commuting to/from work? Get real already...LOL

Not all Americans are fat. Not all Americans are stupid. And NOT EVERY car in the U.S has a V8. We have a lot of 4 poppers and 3 popper cars too. Like in the Geo Metro, Chevy Aveo, etc...I'm a PROUD American and I don't care what you think. I'm gonna buy a 1987 Chevy Caprice with a 305ci V8...Hey! Its got catalytic converters! And it can seat 6 of my friends! Its a battering ram too!

$35,000 for this car?! What a joke...My Toyota Yaris liftback only cost $14,000 with similiar gas mileage and is more practical.

The more micro cars we put on our roads the better. I am looking forward to the day when the Smart is even smarter with maybe a fully electric or a hybrid. As little as 40 miles on a charge would get most Americans to work and back without a drop of gas, and in hyrid format, would be able to visit grandma over the river and through the woods. ***VISIT MY CHANNEL PLEASE***

the problems with with american cars. is that they put V8 in verything...and most of them are petrol, this is why in europe we have lots of 4 cilinder cars.....we have lots of diesel, and lots of smarts....and we save on fuel and we dont damage so much nature....but the olny thing that the american dont have is the hot version of the smart...the 100 hp Brabus smart! My had owns a 2002 smart (the old model)
you are part of the reason fuel prices ar so high goof!keep driving your big tank you wont have any money ! we don't need 5000 pound vehicles to haul ONE PERSON TO AND FROM WORK

This is not a toy ! i understand that in America it is strange for you, but in Europe we have it since 1998, and people were stupefied when it arrived. But today it's ok. The first generation had problems with quality but the MK2 is good.
