Thanks mate! Ironically I think that this wasn't the best forum for me to raise my original comment though, just to give you a glimpse of where I am coming from, when I recently spent 4 years in Australia the then PM seemed to use every spirit under the sun to try and motivate people (spirit of patriotism, national spirit, I even found out that Myer were asking employees to commit to 'the spirit of the vision'). Just on the really practical side, it all scares me, but this is really a thanks!

Okay then, I apologize for the assumption. I'm glad you see the Spirit's work.

Nice scripture quote!
But I think that this is a case of you assuming something that is not true, the evidence being that you said that I cannot see the Holy Spirit working through Paul, yet to the contrary, I do. So your sorrow is misguided and is based upon a false assumption.
I extend that to include your comment about being nitpicky and legalistic, your assumption here is that I have not excercised a gift of discernment.
You are right, God is love, and I appreciate Jan's videos!

Well I'm terribly sorry that you cannot see the Holy Spirit working through Paul and the other people in that video just because it uses the phraise "Kiwi spirit". Sometimes we as Christians are so nitpicky and legalistic that we disregard the motive behind the good deed-that is LOVE. Because God IS Love (1 John 4:8)

Otherwise, its a nice video, btw, I'm not belittling your channel, as to the contrary I'm actually a fan and have been subscribed for ages!

Put another way, I believe that World Vision is promoting an anti-Christ in this advertisement, and | wonder if Paul knows about it. I used to live with Paul and I don't question his Christian commitment at all, but I do believe that when the church gets involved in spirits of patriotism and spirits of nationalism, that it is into spiritism
An example of spiritism in the world was that many years ago when I was at Myer Melbourne, it was asking its employees to sign to 'the spirit of the vision'

But its like a Christian promoting "national spirit", "community spirit", a "spirit of patriotism", etc, and as these "don't declare that Christ came in the flesh and ascended into heaven" (broadly the scriptural definition of an anti-Christ), then the question still stands in my mind "What's World Vision doing promoting the Kiwi Spirit (1:24)? I thought that it was into the Holy Spirit. "
What's World Vision doing promoting the Kiwi Spirit (1:24)? I thought that it was into the Holy Spirit.

Because it is a New Zealand Advert - hence the reference to Kiwi Spirit (Newzealder=kiwi) - made especially for NZ TV
