On this episode of Hi-Shredability we are doing something a bit different. Yes it's still all about the surf. But this isn't about some famous surfer we've all heard of. No, this episode is about kids contributing to the culture and helping to shape the next generation of surf.

VBS rides and surfs with Cycle Zombies Rat and Turkey a couple of dudes raised on skating, surfing and riding bikes. But there is more to this surf/bike/punk collective than their Never Never Land names.

We take the camera out and follow these kids around for a day-in-the-life SoCal doc about the kids just doing it for the love.

  • Spoiled? Hardly. They were taught how to be successful and they went and did it at a young age. No need to hate.

  • whats the song at the beginning?

  • Yur just jealous

  • @Ghawdxi yeah its not really to be racist its just liek a fuck you trying to shock people kinda thing sid vicious did the same thing along with all the punks its just to piss people off most the time but some people are really racist assholes

  • @bakersakter Yeah, I seem to remember reading or seeing something that said they originally wore that stuff because the symbols themselves freaked people out, but the bikers didn't really know what they actually referred to (maybe it was Terry the Tramp in HST's Hell's Angels).

  • @Ghawdxi ooooooooh i just saw it, yeah the independent logo is an iron cross i thought you had it confused. but the whole biker nazi thing in america comes from 60s B biker movies like The Wild Angels which were based on the hells angels who rode around with SS's and Iron Cross Necklaces and Swastica Flags i duno why the whole fascism ideal was so appealing to them. Fat white guys with beards from the midwest i guess it makes sense

  • @bakersakter As far as I know their logo is an Iron Cross. I'm not a skater, so I don't know. Are you sure an American skateboard company is allowed to have a swastika as their logo? Are we talking about the same thing? I'm talking about the way the outside of the shelving unit is painted red to look like a swastika, and judging from the "SS" signs on the rest of the bikes, and the propensity forCalifornia bikers to include Nazi-like iconography on their bikes, I think I'm right.

  • @Ghawdxi independent, Indy for short they make skateboard trucks dude

  • @bakersakter What's an INDY sign?

  • @ocriffraff hey then tell your friends to tell them to help me build a bike man

  • @Ghawdxi that aint no swastica thats an INDY sign
