A tale of a love-hate relationship, an accidental pregnancy, and the cover-up and scandal that goes along with it. *** MacKenzie opened the shirt pocket of his Armani Sportscoat and withdrew a small, velvet box. Chloe gasped dramatically and clapped a hand over her mouth. Oh, MacKenzie! she breathed. MacKenzie dropped to one knee and popped open the box. Will you marry me? His eyes shown with love-stricken hopefulness. Chloe was crying perfect tears. Tears that didnt make her eyes red or her nose sniffle, Sonny noticed. Yes! They moved in for a kiss and Sonny took this moment to intervene. Chad! Mlady on set! Chad shouted. He dropped Chloe from his arms and she fell to the floor with a thud. How are you feeling? Sore, responded the slightly dense Chloe, who sat up rubbing her head. But in an instant Chad was by Sonnys side. She felt her brave smile crumple and she covered her face with her hands as she sobbed silently. Chad cradled her in his arms as he led her to his dressing room. When they were seated, he wiped her tears with his sleeve. He could feel his own vision blurring. Whats the verdict? Chad asked quietly, well aware of his own tightening throat. But he hardly had to look for an answer. He already knew.
