I'd love to hear Bulljams definition of balance...90% of people who say they know what they are talking about don't...I watched on my beaten up phone, but looked like the toes were long, no mention of trimming the bars, or his method of balancing the heels or proper heel height. But he did do this just for a class project. I think?
-
trolls? as in people who know what their talking about?
-
I don't know much about horses, but i like that you showed "your way" of trimming horses hooves. Don't listen to the trolls.
-
that was terrible. your outside heel was way higher than your inside and you did a nice job of dishing out your toe quarters. take your nippers back to the feed store and hire someone who knows what their doing. good ole barefoot trimmers and their "balance" lol
-
this is a note to anyone out there, if someone comes at your horse with those 20 dollar nippers you tell them to leave. that was not how to properly trim a horse my friend. spend the 40-50 bucks every 8 weeks if you are feeling cheap, should be closer to 6. if you dont want to dont own a horse.

it was an ok trim, but he didn't trim the bars and the hoof, even though it was a forefoot, looked like a hind :(
