The 1981 comedy from director Michael Schultz starring George Segal as a business executive who discovers he has a black son played by Denzel Washington which is apparently is the worst thing that could happen to him. Probably not gracing Washington's resume these days. Also starring Jack Warden, Susan St. James, and Paul Winfield. Any resemblance between father and son is purely racist.

  • @ugotwasted212 No Walter quits his job, finds out his son is a genius and is starting his freshman year at Northwestern. Walter catches up with him, they both ride off into the sunset on their way to Evanston.

  • Great movie!

  • The youth fun days of Alonzo Harris

  • He was younger ... he was 26. He's 56 now...do the math.

  • Even though he was about 30 years old on here playing a teenager... He STILL looked good AND young! :-D Matter of fact, he still looks good now! :-D

  • Man I saw this a few years back, I was maybe 16, and I didn't really pay attention to the racism, what I really liked was the whole back story, and watching how they interacted with each other and their environment.
