I had the privilege of living close to a warthog home , seeing them in training manuevers etc.This show simply doesn't convey the aerobatic capabilities of this beautiful , and simple , weapons platform.It's a flying ballerina wearing big plates of armor with grace.

@Lagerkungen I don't think those 2 things make it a better attacker.
the difference in speed is less than 80mph for top speed, and after 500mph, that difference is negligible til supersonic is part of the talk. The a-10 carries 4 times the gun ordinance, rounds with far more destructive concussion, and lots more payload on its wings. The a10 has DOUBLE the altitude range, and is more heavily armored with more redundancy. I believe it has better stall performance, too...

Wonder what they're going to use after 2025. Maybe a new airframe based on the A-10 design? Because seriously, it's built to do a job, and it does it well.
