Back in April (seems like ages ago), I went to the beautiful Lake Maggiore. Just 1 hour by train from Milan. It's a smaller lake compared to Como, but filled w/ beautiful islands. Esp the one called Isola Bella with the enchanting palace, spectacular garden, exotic underground rooms, and white peahens & peacocks. I've never seen such things!
Too bad the weather was bad, and the sky was cloudy. In the clear day, you can see the lake is surrounded by the beautiful line of Alps. That day, we couldn't see so clearly.
At last, we stopped and watched the ducks playing by the lake. I just wished I were one of them, just playing by the lake, no need to think about the rest of the world..
