Warning: this video has a LOT of talking, though there is a considerable chunk of skateboarding in it. In this video, I acquaint myself with some 54mm wheels from Better Skateboarding:
http://www.betterskateboarding.com

Better Skateboarding Wheels claim to be resistant to flatspots, as well as being really fast. In this clip, I go over a set of 54mm wheels (I covered 49's in part 1) that they sent me, and I offer up some footage of the type of skating I did on them for a few weeks... sliding, reverting, and other things that make your wheels go *skrrrrtttkt*.

All in all, I like the wheels... unfortunately, I had to cut the actual skating down on this part because I sprained my ankle off camera. Grrrr.

The song is "The Devil in the Kitchen" by Ashley MacIsaac.

  • you seem better in this video then when you were reviewing the zero p2 deck...

  • @eVerProductions1

I try to vary my skating as much as I can, not sure about better or worse or anything, it just is what it is! peace.

  • Atleast you have a tinfoil park! ours got closed down.

  • @nedyroc

Ah man, that sucks... what happened? I really hate hearing that!

My home park is concrete (this one is in a town close to where I work), but I try to ride different stuff that other people can relate to in different vids.

  • @grimcity Quite a few things went wrong with our park, but for the most part, moving the ramps around to make a different set up was a huge thing about it. I'm going to make a video explaining it, and I'll post it as a video response to explain more.

  • @nedyroc

Definitely do that! I'll fave it as well so more people can see what happened. That's just crazy, man!

  • My town is not skate-friendly at all. No parks, no local skate shop, no sidewalks, and my house property is way to gravely to skate on.

  • at the end of the vid ur board matchs the flowers and ur hat haha

  • @grimcity ronnie is cool i dont think i met chip maybe i have. ronnie's wife was a teacher at my school last year and her daughter went to my school last year too.

  • @theneovas1

...I don't technically work there, but I help with tech stuff, and the co-owners are two of my best friends. I've known Chip and Ronnie (Ruckus) for years though... well over a decade. Chip can murder a wakeboard!
