New generation VOE mufflers on VOE GTO 1970. Camera cannot show it but sound differential is 10 dBA plus between loud and quiet.
Please visit www.waldronexhaust.com for similar mufflers.

  • Forgot to add that open they sound almost like loud glassspacks or Magnaflow-type mufflers with the sound level of typical Flowmaster mufflers of the 17" case size.

  • Hmm

What do the open and closed exhaust noise resemble? Like for example "the open muffler noise sounds like a Flowmaster....Series Muffler while the closed sounds like the..."

    Thanks!

  • Closed it sounds like and almost quieter than stock dual exhaust GTO mufflers or slightly louder than typical big cars like Olds or Cadillacs.

  • Beautiful

  • how does the switch work to make it sound louder what does it do??

  • First off, you have a beautiful car there! Second, it is refreshing to see one of these cars in the hands of somebody who doesn't abuse the car trying to impress people. That nice easy take-off was impressive enough! I guess the people who abuse cars, smoking tires and such, either don't know the mechanics of a car or didn't build it themselves, they just went out and bought it already restored. Anyway, very nice!!

  • you are the luckiest man alive thank you for showing me the most beautiful thing on earth!

  • @luxaurum go to wikipedia & read about the GTO it will tell you some good info!! this is the baddest souding goat i've ever heard!!!

  • BEAUTIFULL GTO !!!!

  • Pretty sure there were some convertibles.

Almost bought a red one last year, thought I looked at the PHS....

  • One way to settle it. Send the VIN number into PMD and get a copy of the original build sheet. My nephew bought a 70 GTO with a wing on it. He spent around $60 for the build sheet and found out it was a real Judge. It's for sale btw, any buyers?

  • In 1970 GM was concentrating its performance efforts on the new Firebird/Camaro, esp TransAm and Z28...the GTO was being forgotten..the interesting front end disappeared that year; it looked more like a LeMans, sales dropped sharply..by the end of 1970 insurance rates of muscle cars quintipled and dealers couldn't give the cars away...car magazines of the period were commenting on the GTO's fade from glory that year...two years later the GTO was all but gone forever.. noone noticed or cared

  • Fading fast by 1970? You gotta be kidding...

I'm going to order this awesome system for my 62 Tri power Grand Prix
