Myrtle Beach UFO sighting 9/3/2008 - 2

unidentified flying object (ufo) UFO spotted over the ocean in North Myrtle Beach. filmed the UFO from the beach.

Me and the family were out on the beach approx 11-12ish at night. Clear ass night out, slightly windy (obviously being on the beach of an ocean but nothing more than that). We were all laying on our backs just chatting and looking at stars when the wife spotted a "glow" moving crazy among all the stars. No set pattern. Best way to describe it was like the way a bee moves, any fuckin way it wants to & fast. When she told us about it, it was very easy to spot out. after about 1-2mins of this it disappeared. (this was difficult to catch on film due to the speed and moving pattern, footage didnt come out so great but I did try and film it) So obviously we all started looking more closely to the sky, next we spotted a group of distant faint looking stars moving in a loose pattern in a northern direction. Following these, a couple of them soon illuminated themselves for us to see and then would vanish. The link to the first video is probably the best in my opinion, this thing zoomed in out of the sky and starting showing itself. Seems to be almost rotating from the look of the lights and what its doing. I was very glad the footage came out as good as it did considering all this shit was FAR out over the ocean and very HIGH up in the sky.

I saw these lights through binoclulars for 5 minutes from balcony in north Myrtle Beach on Sept 2. I am 51, engineer, law degree. They were NOT military planes, satellites, flares, boats, meteors, drifting lanterns, or anything I have ever seen! Perhaps hoax to attract tourists but can´t inmagine how it could be done! I don´t believe in UFO´s but this was one of the strangest things I have ever seen. Video is real, but much more amazing in person. I sure want to know what those lights were!

i have seen those lights twice - but orange bright lights - in Croatia this year! Never in 33 years something like that. Many similar sightings all over the world, many of them this year. I have make playlist with some of them on my channel. You can find many of them on youtube. Some people say that was those flame lanterns, some videos look like lanterns recorded, but i saw it with my own eyes - fire cant be so bright and flying so fast, there was no wind at my sight.

I witnessed 5-6 illuminating red lights,similar to your video on 11/4/11 @9pm. They faded in and faded out. Honestly, I'm stumped to what it could have been. I was on the 15th floor standing on the balcony at Compass Cove overlooking the ocean. Who knew that S.C. had a hotspot.

Just saw the exact thing from myrtle beach, 5 orange lights. idk what they were, bu they strted around 9:30 and stopped about 15 mins later.

Those look like Chinese Fire Lanterns. I was just lighting those at Myrtle Beach this past week. I first saw them at the All Good Music Festival this past July. Check this video out

I live in Myrtle Beach beach side and have a perfect view over the ocean at night. It was really bad last summer it got to the point everyone in my apartment complex would sit outside with binoculars at night trying to figure these things out .We had no luck.The are pretty predictable . If you see them they usually appear again the next night. They do 3 days disappear a week or so then come back. Its odd no one has a explanation of what they are ,where they came from ,or why they show up.
