Originally, Lunar Lander was a completely text-based game. Never played it, but would be curious to see what it looked like.

I enjoyed playing this game so much...

It'd be very difficult. I have it on a cassette tape somewhere, but even with that, it would be difficult to reproduce. It's in PET-BASIC, and designed to work on an old Pet-2001 (built back in about 1979), running a 6502 8-bit processor.
By the look of the green screen, this was the full-size keyboard version, but still running an 'old-ROM' OS. Probably 16K internal memory. The originals were 8K or (more rarely) 4K.

Tremendous stuff, although that landing was a terrible effort. This is the first video game I ever played, and I actually landed it a few times. Remarkable that our NASA boys managed it first time, with untested technology, when one thinks about it!
