@juniortrooperfuture I found the Image Colour Accuracy Vividness of the NIKON D40x to be better than even the highier rated NIKON D80. It is ALL very RELATIVE, Sir Photographer simply because you have highier MegaPixels results in highier Resolution BUT NOT highier Colour Accuracy, As the Pixels increase so too DROPS the Colour Accuracy Vividness. Some Wisdom now, to solve this issue such as the NIKON D3s, 12.4 MegaPixel Machine , the Pixel Density is decreased large format Pixels more Photons

Hey these photos are great! My friend introduced me to this camera and I'm thinking about trying to find it and buy it. I'm NOOOOO photographer and I was curious was setting you used to take these shots? DO you think I would get the same affect if I used the automatic settings?

@ugomma Thanks! But I would recommend you to wait for the Nikon D3100 to come out (successor to this camera and D3000). It has 14 Megapixels, video recording, and newer, advanced technologies. I used Aperture priority and manual modes. Thanks!

Did you use the same lense for all these pictures? Amazing photography!!!
How long have you been doing photography?
ismileOlivelaughlove 1 year ago
@ismileOlivelaughlove I used both the 18-55 mm and 55-200mm and this Christmas I was gifted the 35mm F1.8 Nikkor lens (which was not used to take any of the pictures in the video). I started photography when I was about 12, DSLR photography when I was 14, I am now 15 and a half, so about two years. I started when I was asked by the girls head coach at my school to take pics, and it took off from there!
