I've read most of Connelly's stuff. My favorite author by far. Harry Bosch is coolest character in fiction, my favorite so far is "The Last Coyote." The one where he discovers his mother's killer.

I found this while looking for another film by the same director/write::::
"The Scarecrow is a 1982 New Zealand film, also known as Klynham Summer in America.
It was directed by Sam Pillsbury based on the 1963 horror novel by New Zealand author Ronald Hugh Morrieson about a killer in a small town:" ^_^ It has John Carradine in it as well.

i agree i love his books , im reading one called the brass verdict just started it ,bosch is in it but main character is micky haller

Connelly is the Man! That dude with the shovel was the FBI agent guarding the terrorists! Can't wait for the next Bosch -- even thought he has gone a bit soft since becoming a father.

I agree Michael Connelly is the king and his books that include the desert and Las Vegas are among his best.

Not only is Michael Connelly an awesome writer, but his production team is great, too. I'm filled with anticipation for The Scarecrow.
