The categorization "BRUTAL" came from and is reserved for the sound represented best by Devourment's 1999 album "Molesting The Decapitated." Brutal Death Metal existed prior to that in various forms but mainly coming directly from Suffocation's "Effigy of the Forgotten" and "Pierced from Within." I like some deathcore and whatnot, but what I recommend in this reply is beyond..."slams" instead of "breakdowns" and exhaled vocals instead of inhaled which is intensely more difficult. good luck.

who gives a fuck about scene these bands are brutal. you haters fail cuz you all are those defined by scene - u are right against scene bands regardless their music quality - in this case, their extent of brutality. Anti-scene whores are scene kids just as much.
