Kalyanji-Anandji compositions wins the 48th annual Grammy Awards for the track Dont Phunk With My Heart, The Black Eyed Peas The track puts together two compositions of Kalyanji-Anandji, sung by Asha Bhonsle Yeh mera dil pyar ka diwana from the film Don and Ae naujawaan hai sab kuchh yahaan from the film Apradh .

in 2005, the Black Eyed Peas sampled Asha Bhosle's songs "Ae Naujawan Sab Kuchh Yahan" (Apradh, 1972) and "Yeh Mera Dil Yaar Ka Diwana" (Don, 1978) in their hit single "Don't Phunk with My Heart"

There is no need to buy rights to do a cover for songs. The copy right law does not cover musical tunes and songs now. Black Eyed Peas shows professioanlism and heart by acknowledging the source of inspiration for their song.
