Identity theft: caused by thieving assholes

Nuclear weapons: sure they might be bad but (1) they are good defense mechanism and (2) nuclear energy is provides safe and clean energy for millions

Credit card debt: caused by economics and debt as concept was around since the bronze age or even before that

Science isn't a double edge sword because there way more good than bad

Credit cards depend on the use of many different electronic machines that are dependent on science

Anything that has favorable and infavorable consequences is a double edged sword....if you don't believe me look up meaning

1) I appreciate electricity, that comes from nukes. When we used nukes in WW2, it saved possibly millions of lives of military officers and civilians by bypassing a land evasion of Japan and it also shortened the war.

2) Yes but police also use science and technology to catch these assholes and the vast majority are caught.

3) Credit cards are good because they are CONVENIENT. I don't have to carry cash around. If wallet is stolen, all I have to do is call the credit card company and get the card turned off before it is used, if I carried around cash, I would loose all of it. I can pay bills online instead of through the mail, cutting down on paper. All benefits of science.

@veemonro How many flat earthers are around now compared to 500 years ago? How about people that use leeches to treat illness? How about people who think that illness is caused by demons? Most of those people are not around anymore not because each and everysingle one has been educated and converted to better ideas, they are no longer around because they are dead and the people alive today now have better ideas and beliefs on how things work.

Ok what about hackers who keylogg your bank information and clean you out....when you bring up computers never forget about hackers, never forget about the money you spend on anti-virus software that is made from hackers themselves to get you to buy their software...

Mailing is still safer it just requires more energy, since science has made us lazy it hard for us to use the mail system anymore. Science contributes to high obesity.

2) how do we knows all the criminals are caught? criminals use science to get fake passports, plastic surgery to help themselves get away. Then you got all these rich CEOS getting away with billions of dollars by beating the system and leaving their workers with nothing but layoffs....yeah thanks science

3) credit cards are convenient at the time of purchase, but it seems at the time of payment they aren't so convenient....sometimes when you lose a card its too late..

1) Yes the atomic diplomacy, it did quicken the end of the war, my whole point was showing the double edge of the situation however .... it still killed many japanese people, innocent people and children...Could this have been handled in a different way? Were there alternatives. Were the japanese ready to surrender before bombs?

2) police use science and technology to catch a-holes but yet these a-holes grab good lawyers and are released.
