  • The last song Ruby Flipper ever danced to was: WILD CHERRY – Play That Funky Music on Top of the Pops 14-10-76, presented by: David Hamilton. Legs & Co's first ever song they danced to was: AVERAGE WHITE BAND – Queen Of My Soul, on 21-10-76, presented by: Ed Stewart. :)

  • Yeah..Pans People are no more as Ruby Flipper dance to their very first song by THE STYLISTICS – Can’t Help Falling In Love. The last song PP danced to was the previous week dancing to "Silver Star" by The Four Seasons. :)

  • was this sung by Herbert the Pervert from Family Guy lol

  • @ArthurNibble UKGold needed his permission, but apparently the rules are different for BBC4 and if he doesn't like it, there's nothing he can do! I think they only pulled it last week because of the elections. Cherry is gorgeous and was always my favourite, but that sweetie with the pink bolero and the garter is very nice too!

  • Apparently a rethink somewhere down the line. Noel's stints on 1976 ToTPs ARE being shown after all, so apologies on my part for the previous rant.

PS - I'd forgotten how gorgeous Cherry was. Happy memories!

  • It appears Noel Edmonds is now refusing to allow BBC4 to show any ToTP re-runs that he hosted, in a similar fashion to his embargo on re-runs on UK Gold. The edition he hosted 35 years ago this week has been pulled from the schedules. The recent 1976 ToTP documentary showed Noel to be a vacuous egomaniac. I hope his next shit is a cactus.

  • The white guy dancers were so obviously trained for and experienced with West End stage musicals -type of chorus dancing and are completely at sea here.its obvious why they didn't last long - I think one of them left within a couple of weeks and the other lasted a couple of months. Only Floyd (the black dancer) stayed the course of Ruby Flipper and he came back sometimes to dance a couples routine with one of Legs and Co.
