  • i forgot about this song dam

  • This was the cut!! This was back in the day when rap and hip hop was fun with the funkiest beats ever made.

  • All the youngbloods complaining about the pops and scratches on the audio have obviously never put the needle to the groove, and they think vinyl is just a fabric.

  • This would be 10x better if it was a digital version of it. Whoever created this Y.T. video must have used a turntable from the 1920's you can hear the crispy sounds of the pops and scratches from the dust filled needle as it plays.

  • @SethAGonzalez

yes I use to rock with the Crawsuaders back in the day this bring back some great memories,

  • Doesn't this track exist on YT wihOUT the scratches/skips??

  • I was an 11 year old little girl, living in Bronx, NY and this song was BIG! Wouldn't changed growing up in NY during these years for nothing! We just about wore our sneaker soles out doing the Rooftop dance to this!

  • True rap right here. I was ready to graduate from I.S. 74 when this came out. I even have this added to my vinyl collection, too.

  • These guys were pioneers of the hip hop & rap world, and one thing for sure is that, it was done from the heart with pure lyrical skill & talent, it wasn't always about the damn money. And you listen, you can hear a major difference in ol skool hip hop vs. that stuff that they call hip hop of today. At least the lyrics were clear back then.

    Thank God for ol skool!
