Inventor Darla Powell hires prototype company T2 Design (http://www.t2design.com) to develop her singing, talking Niya Doll on ABC's reality TV show American Inventor. The doll is designed, a prototype is constructed and then packaging is developed. Linda Shayne auditions the international choir singers and directs them while recording Niya's song. Niya is tested by children at A Kid's Place in Los Angeles, California. The doll and inventor are judged by Mary Lou Quinlan, Peter Jones, Ed Evangelista and Doug Hall.
