E36 M3 Drifting at XR5 AHG Driving Day - 10th November 2007

I tagged along to the Focus XR5 Club's Performance Driving Day at AHG on the 10th of November. It was the first chance I've had to legally push my M3 to it's limits, and boy was it fun!

I had a great time throwing my car around the skid pan, but as you can see, I didn't have much traction most of the time.

By the end of the day I was down to the belts and one was fraying quite badly! Times like that you're glad to have a full size spare tire.

I should be making more visits to the track, and will upload more vids as they're taken.

Yes, you are right.

That was the first time I tried throwing it around cones and I was still getting a feel for the cars dynamics, but I'm much more familiar with it now. Also, those courses were quite tight, I have found it much easier on closed circuits.

Cheers! When I was shopping for an E36, before I came across this one, I was set on colour matching the plastic bump protectors, as I think it makes them look a lot younger. I was lucky enough to find this one with them already resprayed Alpine White, and the paint is in excellent condition!
