Sheikh Rashid lambasts "emotional" voters for voting for the same tried and tested corrupt and incompetent rulers (Nawaz Sharif, Benazir/Zardari).

Points finger of blame at Chaudhry brothers (PML-Q) for indecision (not sure what he is refering to).


The interviewer to her credit DOES ask Sheikh Rashid why all the work he did for Rawalpindi could not secure his seat.

Sheikh Rashid is supposed to have taken women's education in Rawalpindi to a whole new level with the setting up of multiple women's educational institutions. He points out many voters even opposed that "why are you doing this for women".


Interviewer asks why the people did not see the work he did - he answers he could not win against the slogan "Lal Masjid Ya Lal Haveli" (i.e. choose between the two).

Lambasts the "emotional" voting patterns of voters who can't see beyond their nose and become the stool that corrupt leaders use to ascend to power.

He asks voters to vote for people "like themselves" instead of people who are leaders because some leader in their family, or purely because of their leveraging of huge amounts of money.
