  • vandorens are fine as long as you're okay with getting 1 good reed out of a box of 10.

  • I love rico royal, im not a vandoren person

  • anyone La Vas??

  • Vandorens have a higher number of good reeds per box than rico. And a rico 3 out of the box is like a vandoren 2. ricos are just generally very bad reeds to play on.

  • I perfer Vandoren reeds and my Band Director only charges $2.00 for a Clarinet reed and $3.00 for Bass Clarinet reeds.

  • @milnak im pretty sure that if you know how to adjust reeds, the should sound good. I only have to adjust at the most 2 vandoren reeds out of 10. vandoren sounds beter than ricos any day.

  • "Flaws in cane color..." Uhm, then why do I get 5 out of 10 reeds with discoloration?

  • @imarubberband He can talk to me too. Bass clarinet reeds are bigger and therefore more expensive. AND I love Vandoren. So...

  • @Bebopopotamus Compared to the average slimmed-down piece of wood. (Mostly every reed is cheaper than Vandoren)

  • @42JohnnySmith Expensive compared to what?

  • @ShoeBob98 You think Rico reeds are expensive? Try Vandoren reeds, and then come talk to me.
