Hey great video, I got a question for you. The Larry Davidson grips, are they your standard black 4x4 grips? In the video they have a greyish/ blue finish. Did you modify them or is it simply the light? Thanks

Hi Daniel is the operator just as good as the TRP I don't really have that extra 4 or 500 hundreds dollars

Operator models are Springfield 1911's with accs. rails. Meaning you can get some modesl with rails and it will be an operator. An example would be you can get a TRP without a rail and it would just be a TRP. There are many different models rails. The most common are Loaded operators. Although there are milspec operators and champion operators. It just depends on which operator model your speaking of. The loaded model operator is a good gun but is not as good as a TRP operator

Just picked up my TRP stainless. No rail. Broke it down to clean it with the plan to take it to the range tomorrow. My model has the two piece full length guide rod.....not sure if that will stay. Other than that this piece is super SWEET.

@ 19 sec mark...."safe to talk about it"? When is a firearm "not" safe to talk about it? Is it considered "not safe" to talk about a firearm when it's loaded?
