Product under review: http://amzn.to/rCdLS5

4.5 stars out of 5 stars (rounding up to 5)

Recently I reviewed the JBL Roxy On-Ear Earphones and I was, to put mildly, not a very kind review. But I feel that they have redeemed themselves with this product.

Pros:
~~~~~~
Easy access to the box. No jaws of life to get to the product.
Costs $100, which is decent for a device like this
Very small and easy to move around, especially for something with the ability to dock an iPad.
Sound is very clear
Charges while docking your devices
Comes with a remote (also a negative, more on that later)
It comes with holders that are gentle with your ixxxxx products.
With the iPod/iPhone you can swivel the orientation between landscape and portrait and back. Comes in handy sometimes. Doesn't work with the iPad, but you probably don't want to as it would put a lot of stress on something this small.
Cons:
~~~~~
Bass isn't the best. It is okay and matches what I would expect for $100, but you need to spend a lot more if you want unforgettable sound.
The remote doesn't work well at angles. You have to point straight on to the device to get that to work.
No physical buttons other than volume. I'd love some skip, pause, and play buttons.

I cover all of this with more detail in the video. I hope it helps. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up in the comment section.

  • Can someone please tell me whether this works on battery? i prefer a portable device, and since i love camping a lot, it's hard for me to find a place to plug any device in.

  • @thishan123 Sorry for the long reply, I was out of town this weekend and didn't check until this morning.

    And, sorry, no batteries. I'm with you, I would have loved it if it came with a battery compartment. I like to listen to stuff while I shower so I have to carry it in with its cord and plug it in. A bit of an inconvenience, but it would be even worst if you are taking it camping. Sorry, man.

  • Thanks for doing this video since no one else has done it. Not quite sure why that is the case, but never mind haha. good video anyway
