Yeah I would have to agree with ohn...the exorcist does lag big time. Mostly at the beginning. Its true that you could more or less do away with Max von Sydows bit at the beginning. Although I'm aware its foreshadowing of arrival of and ancient back story of Pazuzu it doesn;t need to be about 20 mins in length. It could just as easily be a passing reference for al the effect it has on the story. I agree Damians scenes are also drawn out but at least they are somewhat relevant to plot.

John... longtime subscriber, love your reviews, but for the first time, you have blasphemed a truly decent film : Exorcist III - Legion . Seriously, there are some great performances in it, and it is for the most part, a great movie. I admit, it's slow as shit in certain scenes, but George C. Scott nailed that one. I stand by it. Anyway, love your reviews, they always brighten my day and are a great escape from the hell that is an office job, keep it up!

@GunHed17 That's fair enough mate, I know not everyone will agree with what I say. George C Scott is the only bright point in that film in my opinion from what I remember. Ah well. Thanks all the same!
