@askiaf I have a friend who served in Afghanistan, a Sgt. Major who confirmed that they are trafficking the opium around the world, (not that I needed the confirmation since I already knew.) He said their superiors claimed they do it because, and I quote, "We have to pay for the war somehow", but his CO is obviously lying because the American taxpayer is paying for the wars, and the opium money is used for funding black projects and is unaccountable to congress. Simply incredible.

Then again, this was nothing new to me. Even UN figures show that in 10 years of presence in Afghanistan the US INCREASED the production of opium TENFOLD, that's 1000%. As usual, the US does the opposite of what it says it will. It invades not to prevent drug dealing but to ensure it, not to implement democracy but to implement dictatorships.

@ymsmusic It isn't new to anyone that is "awake" no....but this is for people who don't have their eyes open. Countries have been battling over the Afghanistan opium for many many years. The invasion of Vietnam was also over opium as well.

Geraldo's interview is laughable, the way he words his on-camera commentary and questions to cover up the fact that the US military is not only "tolerating" the opium crop but they are PROTECTING IT and trafficking herion with the CIA. What totally contrived media theatre. And the moronic achor people perpetuate the charade for the duped and non-critically-thinking tv viewers. The problem with opium is so prevalent that even the media cannot cover it up anymore LOL but they attempt to.
