Judging by the harsh rhetoric that Joe has hurled at Obama, it is not out of the realm of possiblity that he is capable of doing just that: undermining Obama at all costs.

The more I hear Lieberman, the very essence of the more thoughtful and centrist side of me wanes. Joe will be heading one of the most important committees in the Senate, with the capability of undermining Obama's presidency. After watching his behavior over the last few months, it is clear that he and Obama are on two different wavelenghts when it comes to foreign policy.

Actually the surge came from the military generals that we advising the President. They had been advocating a similar position for some time before Bush finally came around and admitted that his strategy to that point was a complete failure.
McCain got on board with the idea of the surge well before Bush did though.

Joe Lieberman is a political whore. The man has no ethics. How can one man run as a democrat for vp in 2000, then all of a sudden become a republican hack. He's such a loser and a spineless rhetorical mouthpiece. I wish he would just go away.
